He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a postgraduate specialty residency in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics.

Elliott Moskowitz, DDS, MSD
Dr. Elliott Moskowitz has been providing high-quality orthodontic treatment for many years. Patients travel from all across New York for expert care and top-notch results.
Dr. Moskowitz has trained hundreds of orthodontists at NYU College of Dentistry and other dental and orthodontic institutions nationally and internationally as an expert clinical orthodontist.
It's not uncommon to find that Dr. Moskowitz trained many orthodontists practicing in Manhattan in the university setting or the office itself. NYU College of Dentistry even has an orthodontic clinical facility in Dr. Moskowitz's name.
Orthodontist vs. Dentist: Why Choose an Orthodontist in NYC?
While both orthodontists and dentists focus on oral health, orthodontists specialize in diagnosing, preventing, and treating dental and facial irregularities. After dental school, orthodontists undergo additional years of specialized training to master the art of aligning teeth and jaws. This expertise allows them to address complex orthodontic issues with precision and care. Choosing an orthodontist for teeth straightening ensures that you receive treatment from a specialist who is trained to achieve the best possible outcomes, whether you need braces, clear aligners, or other orthodontic solutions.
The Comprehensive Benefits of Orthodontic Treatment
Orthodontic treatment offers far-reaching benefits that go beyond just a straighter smile. Physically, properly aligned teeth are easier to clean, reducing the risk of cavities, gum disease, and other oral health issues. Correcting bite problems can also alleviate jaw pain, headaches, and excessive wear on teeth, leading to better overall oral health.
Mentally and emotionally, the benefits of a great smile are significant. A straight, confident smile can boost self-esteem, making you feel better about your appearance. This increase in confidence can enhance your social interactions, making you more likely to engage with others and build positive relationships. In professional settings, a well-aligned smile can make a strong first impression, contributing to your success in interviews, meetings, and networking opportunities.
In summary, investing in orthodontic treatment is an investment in your overall well-being. It not only improves your oral health but also enhances your self-confidence and quality of life, making you feel more comfortable and self-assured in every aspect of your daily interactions.
