Kathrin Praedikow, DDS, PhD

Kathrin Praedikow was born in Cologne, Germany, where she went to school and graduated from the University of Cologne with a degree in dentistry and a PhD in dentistry. Dr. Praedikow worked in a multi-specialty dental office for three years before she and her husband moved to New York City, where she earned another Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and a postgraduate degree in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics at New York University College of Dentistry. During her postgraduate program, Dr Praedikow was the co-director of the orthodontic honor program for dental students, where she taught dental students the basics of orthodontics and won the first prize in the nationwide Invisalign® university competition with one of the cases she was treating during her residency. Dr. Praedikow is a board certified orthodontist and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists®, a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Dental Association®.

Dr. Praedikow is married and has three children, Carl, Leopold and Clara, who are her biggest pride. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her kids, going for a run or long walks, and skiing in winter.
