Kathrin Praedikow was born in Cologne Germany where she went to school and graduated from University of Cologne with a degree in Dentistry and a PhD in Dentistry. Dr. Praedikow worked in a multi-specialty dental office for three years before she and her husband moved to New York City where she earned another DDS degree and a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at NYU College of Dentistry. During her postgraduate program, Dr Praedikow was the co-director of the Orthodontic honor program for dental students where she taught dental students the basics of orthodontics and won the first price in the nationwide Invisalign University competition with one of the cases she was treating during her residency. Dr. Praedikow is a board certified Orthodontist and a member of the AAO, a diplomate of the Orthodontic board and a member of the ADA.
Dr. Praedikow is married and has three children, Carl, Leopold and Clara which are her biggest pride. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her kids, going for a run or long walks and skiing in winter.
